Citizens Advice is working in a changing and uncertain environment. The problems people face are becoming more complex, demand is growing and services are under pressure. We do not always have the time or space to share what we are learning, make connections or work through common challenges together.
Across Citizens Advice, people are responding in different ways: testing new approaches, building partnerships and finding practical ways to improve how we support people now and in the future.
The programme speaks to some of the big opportunities for delivering our service-wide missions: making advice fit for the future, closing the gap and taking earlier action. At the heart of all of the discussions is a focus on making services more sustainable and involving people and communities more in how services and decisions are shaped.
Common Ground 2026 will build on the conversations started at last year’s conference and the work that has followed. It will bring people together from across the service to share what is happening, learn from each other and explore some of the challenges we have in common.
Our network already holds a huge wealth of knowledge and experience. Common Ground gives us an opportunity to share more of what we know, learn from what’s already happening, and uncover new opportunities to work together.
We want people to leave with new connections, practical ideas and fresh ways to tackle shared challenges; creating opportunities to keep working together long after the conference.
